Hyperbolic, Digital Collage, 2010

For this piece, I collected thousands of images of lense flares, also known as 'bokeh', and arranged them in an attempt to create a very dense surface and an intense optical image. It plays with the physical surface of print, the perception of the flatness of and depth within the image surface, and of the surface of the camera lenses themselves, which are revealed through these beautiful phenomenon.
